Phase II: Existing furniture and furnishes
• Determine the extent of existing furnishings to be incorporated in plans • Create existing furniture inventory
Phase III: Support data collection for space requirements
• Provide support for development of workstation requirements
o Type of work o Equipment – type/size, cabling, accessibility o Work surface – size, configuration o Storage –type/size/amount: documents, books, binders, computer disks/tapes, supplies, fireproof o Privacy – Visual/acoustical o Seating – User, guest o Interpersonal/departmental relationships o Priorities o Style/material/finish
SECTION 2: ACTION, VERIFICATION, AUTHORIZATION
Phase I: Designer planning and support
• Review field verification data from existing or new location • Review base drawings • Create inventory of existing furniture and equipment • Develop an appraisal of furniture and equipment • Create 3-D computer generated drawings for workstations • Provide initial cost estimating and delivery considerations for furniture and finish selections • Provide samples and photos of selected furniture and materials • Provide mock-ups or sample furniture pieces for presentation • Coordinate with designer for showroom tours • Provide flooring samples and budgets • Provide window treatment samples and budgets • Provide accessory samples and budgets • Develop detailed specifications and budgets for furniture, furnishings, and materials presentation
SECTION 3: IMPLEMENTATION
Phase I: Contract document coordination
• Provide designer required information for specifications within the construction drawing set • Insure that any furniture or finish item provided by Sun Office is checked and verified on the construction drawings
Phase II: Project management
• Furniture, finish and accessory procurement o Finalize purchase documents, plan factory orders, check accuracy of factory acknowledgments o Verify final orders with budget requirements
• Construction/move coordination o Field coordination with designer and sub contractors o Field coordination with mover and installers o Field coordination with telephone and data contractors o Coordinate furniture delivery and installation
• Final documentation o Final furniture specifications and order documentation o Computerized history of all purchases o Warranty documents
SECTION 4: SERVICE
Installation services
• Sun Office crew and trucks available for small installations • Union installers available for large projects, with supervisors from Sun Office • Evening and weekend installation available
Leasing/financing
• Arrange lease financing at competitive rates
Loaners
• Provide usable loaners until new product is installed
Cleaning
• Carpet, upholstery and fabric panel cleaning and maintenance programs • Wood, ceramic, vinyl tile and stone floor cleaning and refinishing • Furniture cleaning, polishing, refinishing, touch up, lubrication, and maintenance programs • Application of Fabri-Coate stain resistant process for upholstery and panel fabric
Electrostatic refinishing • Metal furniture refinished on-site or off-site • Ability to match or create any paint color
Delivery service
• Diligent, trained staff to deliver and install • Use of our own trucks in Chicago area; national service available • Blanket wrapped installation and delivery service our specialty • Receive, un-carton, assemble at our warehouse or your dock • Immediate delivery from stock • Factory drop shipments arranged • Overnight shipment of parts, keys, small items
